• A place from which one’s strength is drawn, where one feels at home; the place where you are your most authentic self.

“Places are not made by the objects or by an architect but out of what people create through habitation.” (Pomer and Prophet) Through photography, I am exploring the experience of one’s first skin in comparison to their second skin - the house or home they live in. The images in this project examine interiors to discover the internal state of the subject, keeping in mind the idea that “all of our senses are constantly informed and nurtured by the space we inhabit.” (Pomer and Prophet)
